Yg ni xbyk pic yg cantik sbb area tu xbrape nk terang..yelah nama pn masuk hutan kn..suram2 gitu..sejuk,damai sekali2 muke kene cahaya matahari dari celahan pokok2..mmg syok sgt2..xrase penat bejalan..tp Scenic Walkway ni kami xabis pusing sbb ank2 dh mula lapar n penat..so signal utk stop n rehat ++ isi tangki dulu :)

Serba sedikit tentang Scenic Walkway ni adalah kawasan pemprosesan arang batu..banyak tinggalan2 sejarah yg kita blh lihat..selain itu byk papan2 info yg kita blh baca tentang hidupan liar n tumbuh-tumbuhan "Rainforest"..

Mama story ngn Adam Yusuf..dulu2 hutan ni tempat tinggal dinosour..dh sepanjang jalan Adam Yusuf tanye mama mana dinosour???hehe

Discover over 2.8kms of boardwalk through the ancient rainforest, including 380 metres of wheel chair accessible walkway.

Take the time to look around and find some fascinating facts about the local flora and history of the valley.

Along the way you will also find the Marrangaroo Spring, where you can have a refreshing drink of pure Blue Mountains water.

Take a break in the Rainforest Room deep within the valley, with bench seating for up to 110 people.

Take the time to watch a 10 minute audio visual display located in the coal mine entrance.

See the life size bronze sculptures of a mine worker and his pit pony and a display of the tools used by the miners.

Scenic  Railway

Ride the steepest incline Railway in the world.

The 415m descent will take you through a cliff side tunnel down into an ancient rainforest.  From here, you are free to explore the Scenic Walkway which will guide you through the forest to the Scenic Cableway platform.

The Scenic Railway can carry up to 84 passengers and operates every 10 minutes.

The Term 'Scenic Railway' dates back to late 19th century English amusement rides at funfairs and seaside amusement parks that were, by today's standards, very tame roller coasters. They consisted of a freely running carriage on rails that was raised to the top of a slope by various means, including horse drawn, pushed manually, or later, steam driven. The carriage, which carried 8 or 10 passengers, then rolled past a series of backdrops painted with exotic scenes - usually Swiss alpine, Egyptian Pyramids, jungle scenes with tigers, elephants and so on. Hence they were known as 'Scenic Railways'. The use of the term widened as time passed and by the 1930s was readily accepted as a name for what was to become the steepest incline railway in the world, at Scenic World, Katoomba.

Family Friendy Scenic World is a family business and welcomes families with children. All Scenic World experiences are suitable for children of any age. Babies and small children are welcome on all rides and must be held by a guardian as baby seats are not provided on the Railway, Skyway or Cableway. The Three Sister Rock History :-

The commonly told legend of the Three Sisters is that three sisters (Meehni', 'Wimlah' and Gunnedoo') lived in the Jamison Valley as members of the Katoomba tribe). They fell in love with three men from a neighbouring tribe (the Nepean tribe), but marriage was forbidden by tribal law. The brothers were not happy to accept this law and so decided to use force to capture the three sisters. A major tribal battle ensued, and the sisters were turned to stone by an elder to protect them, but he was killed in the fighting and no one else could turn them back. This legend is claimed to be an Indigenous Australian Dreamtime legend.^[1]

However, Dr Martin Thomas, in his work "The artificial horizon: imagining the Blue Mountains",^[2] clearly shows that the "aboriginal" legend is a fabrication created by a non-Aboriginal local Katoomba, Mel Ward, presumably to add interest to a local landmark. The story originated in the late 1920s or early 1930s and is unknown prior to that date.

The Aboriginal traditional owners, the Gundungurra, have a legend that includes the Sisters rock formation. They are currently^[when?] developing a website which will include these traditional stories.

Assalammualaikum semua..

Kembali bersiaran...macam2 cerita tp mood kelaut..so SEPI :) arini gagah jgk update story the mory last weken..dah lama xbejalan so en.hubbie plan utk ke Blue Mountains, New South Wales salah satu destinasi wajib kalo dah dtg ke Sydney, Australia :)

Jarak perjalan hanya 2jam dr rumah kami..alhamdulillah semua berjalan lancar seperti yg dirancang.. bertolak dari rumah pukul 9am dan smpi dlm 11am..ank2 sumer berkelakuan baik dlm kete :) Kami terus tuju ke Scenic World..so acara wajib posing2 dulu kat entrance Scenic World.. jom layan piccas dibawah :)

Scenic World is in Katoomba, in Australia's World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, just 100 Km west of Sydney (2 hours by road or train).

It's on the corner of Violet Street and Cliff Drive, only 3km from Katoomba's town centre and railway station. 

From Katoomba you can hop on a Blue Mountains Explorer or Trolley Tours bus that will drop you off right at the front door.

Lama betul mama peram resepi ni..ats semangat kwn2 yg ingin mencuba resepi ni t'update jgk akhirnya :) mama xleh celoteh pnjg2 sbb si kecik ni tgh meragam..huhu jom intai resepinya..buat tuan resepi mohon izin kongsi resepi di blog picisan ni yer :)

RESEPI BLANDED ORANGE CAKE

Resepi Asal : kak fida

Sumber : Mas Duniaku

Bahan-bahan ( loyang 10 inc )

1 bji buah limau
1 cawan minyak
2 cawan gula halus( Kurangkan kpd 1cawan shj)
3 biji telur
2 cawan tepung gandum*
1 sb baking powder* ( *diayak bersama ) 

1 sb oren sanquick (mas tambah)

sedikit pewarna oren (mama guna kuning)

Cara- cara :

• Cuci buah limau,potong dan buang biji dan urat putih di tengah2.Potong lagi buah limau kecil2 bersama kulitnya sekali.Masukkan kedalam blender bersama,minyak,gula dan telur dan kisar hingga halus. 

• Tuang bahan yang dikisar kedalam mangkuk dan masukkan campuran tepung sedikit2 sambil dikacau sebati.  

• Tuangkan adunan kedalam loyang yg beralas dan gris. 

• Bakar pd suhu 170C selama 40 min hingga 1 jam atau hingga masak.  

Nota :

• Jangan tuang adunan hingga penuh kedalam bekas sebab Mas lihat, kek oren ni akan naik hampir 2 kali ganda semasa proses membakar, jadi biarkan baki suku dari bekas supaya kek tak melimpah nanti semasa dibakar.
• Mas letak 1 1/2 cawan jerk gula tu dan pada Mas kek oren tu dah cukup manis.(mama rasa 1cwn dh cukup manisnya)

Satukan kesemua bahan diatas kedalam mixer bowl dah putar hingga adunan nampak gebu dan berkrim :)

Tangisan seorang ibu..ingatlah setitis airmata ibu yg mengalir akibat terguris hatinya oleh kita..sebesar-besar pintu neraka terbuka sedia untuk menelan dan membakar kita.."ibu ampunkanlah dosa anak mu".. sbg ank sesusah mana dugaan yang dtg dlm menjaga org tua mu...jgn pernah mengeluh kerana sebesar2 pahala dijanjikan untuk mu..ambil ini sebagai tauladan kita..peringatan buat diri sendiri..sebak sgt tgk ibu ni menangis...
